Proper nutrition is essential during your pregnancy and postpartum journey as it not only promotes the health of the mother but also supports the growth and development of the foetus and the newborn.
During pregnancy, the mother's nutritional requirements increase to support the growth and development of the foetus. Adequate intake of essential nutrients such as protein, iron, folate, calcium, and vitamin D is crucial for optimal foetal development.
Inadequate intake of these nutrients can lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes such as low birth weight, preterm birth, and developmental abnormalities.
Proper nutrition during pregnancy can also prevent or manage pregnancy-related complications such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and anaemia.
Pregnancy Package (Prenatal) $400
The pregnancy package provides education and support for you throughout your pregnancy journey. The package option includes meal planning and recipe options to promote a healthy pregnancy and reduce the risk of common pregnancy problems such as gestational diabetes, food aversions and constipation.
Each trimester we will meet to discuss any questions you may have, ways to navigate any symptoms, and nutrient priorities for the next phase of baby's growth. The recipes and meal plan provided will help to support any nutrition recommendations we discuss.
In the postpartum phase, proper nutrition is also essential to support the mother's recovery and to provide adequate nutrition for the newborn.
Breastfeeding mothers require additional energy and nutrient requirements to support milk production and to replenish their own nutrient stores that may have been depleted during pregnancy.
Adequate intake of key nutrients such as protein, calcium, iron, and vitamin D is essential during the postpartum phase to promote the mother's recovery and to support the growth and development of the newborn.
The role of a registered dietitian in pregnancy and postpartum is crucial in ensuring optimal maternal and foetal health. Dietitians can provide personalised and evidence-based nutrition advice to mothers to help them meet their nutrient requirements and to address any nutritional deficiencies.
They can also provide practical guidance on how to choose nutrient-dense foods, how to manage common pregnancy-related symptoms such as nausea and constipation, and how to maintain a healthy weight during pregnancy and postpartum.
Dietitians can provide support and guidance for mothers who choose to breastfeed, how to ensure adequate milk production, and how to manage any breastfeeding-related issues that may arise.

Pregnancy + Postpartum Package Combined ($850)
Payment plans available from just $100/month
What is included if I purchase both packages?
Purchasing both packages together is recommended as you have continuation of care with the same Dietitian throughout your pregnancy, and you have email access to your Dietitian for the duration of your package for any questions or support you may need.
Continuation of care throughout pregnancy is invaluable and will provide a sense of comfort for you that you are supporting yourself and your baby nutritionally during pregnancy, but also in the early months of life.
The package duration depends on you and your situation, but typically the package will run from your first trimester of pregnancy, right through until you are 3 months postpartum.
